Helvetia Half Marathon
Tomorrow morning I'm going out to do the Helvetia Half Marathon. Etta was supposed to do it with me but she's come down with a bug so I'll be on my own. I go back and forth between kind of enjoying running and thinking it's a pretty dumb idea. I'm sure tomorrow I'll experience the full range of feelings on that topic.
Update: The results have been posted. I didn't do too badly:

a bug?
i didn't get "a bug". you should clarify- i came down with a stomach-eating disease that threatened to ruin the Republic of Andretta were it not for the quarantine measures instituted by Etta to keep herself (and others) safe. That being said, I'm really proud of you for doing the 13.1 miles and I'm also really jealous. My plan is to jump back on the running bandwagon and to be ready for the July 4th half marathon at Sauvie's island.
